Measures and ways for reliable operation of magnetic pumps

When the positive inlet pressure head is low, the inlet line should be as short as possible to prevent cavitation. 

The inlet line should be suitably sized to ensure that the fluid flow rate does not exceed 3 m/s. When conveying easily vaporisable fluids or liquefied gases, ensure that the flow rate does not exceed 3 m/s. When conveying easily vaporisable fluids or liquefied gases, ensure that the flow rate does not exceed 1 m/s. The inlet and outlet lines of the pump should be supported to prevent additional loads being transferred to the pump. The pump should not act as a stress point in the line, ensure that the piping system has compensating measures for thermal expansion.

The outlet line should be fitted with a control valve to regulate the flow and head of the pump. When using a long outlet line or using two pumps in parallel, it is recommended to install an additional one-way check valve. For continuous pump operation, it is recommended to install a return line with a minimum flow orifice plate. This could ensure adequate lubrication and cooling of the sliding bearings during continuous operation.

The piping should be designed to take into account the exhaust of the pump. The magnetic pump must operate within the specified range. To control the maximum flow, it is recommended that a suitable maximum flow orifice is installed in the outlet line. The entire piping system and the auxiliary piping should be carefully cleaned. This measure prevents iron filings, welding slag or other foreign objects from entering the magnetic pump. For new piping systems, the inlet line should be equipped with a filter.

What's more, magnetic pumps are suitable for conveying high temperature fluids, low temperature fluids and liquids under vacuum. Due to the advantage of complete non-leakage, it has successfully solved the problem of running, bubbling, dripping and leaking in fluid transportation. And it has become an irreplaceable product in environmental protection engineering.
